Ah, coffee. The smell, the taste. We grew up here in Ottawa, and some of our favorite memories are waking up on cold winter mornings, seeing icicles hanging outside the window, and catching that first comforting aroma of coffee brewing in the kitchen.
Then came summer jumping off rope swings, cooling off in Ottawa’s public swimming pools, and slurping iced coffee from big canteens as the sun beat down.
You might say we’ve always had a special love for the humble dark elixir of coffee.
